Why Vedikks exists
Most people meet astrology through a contradiction: the family Kundli feels important, but the apps in their pocket feel strangely generic. They talk about a sun sign, a mood, or a daily lucky colour. They do not know your lagna, your current dasha, or the question you have been carrying for weeks.
Vedikks is built by Mrigang Singh, its founder, and operated by Vedikks Technologies. The idea is simple: if the chart is personal, the answer should be personal too, and if a product claims precision it should show its working.
That second half is why the method page exists. It names the ephemeris library, the ayanamsa, the node convention and the timezone handling, and publishes three reference charts anyone can recompute. Mrigang is not a practising Jyotish astrologer and this site does not claim otherwise; what is claimed is that the astronomy is checkable and the limits are written down.
What the product does
You enter your birth date, time and place. Vedikks calculates your Vedic birth chart, shows the key placements, and gives you Ask the Stars: a private place to ask about career, love, timing, health reflection, family patterns or daily decisions.
The answer is written in plain language and tied back to chart factors such as houses, nakshatras, Vimshottari Dasha and current transits. It should feel like astrology that starts with you, not a paragraph handed to everyone born in the same month.
What Vedikks will not do
Vedikks does not sell panic. It does not treat a compatibility score as a verdict on a relationship. It does not turn Saturn, Rahu or Mangal dosha into a fear funnel, and it does not sell gemstones, pujas or remedies of any kind.
It will not hand you a fixed date for a marriage, a job or a recovery. It is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal or financial care, and where a question is really a health or money question it should say so rather than answer it from a chart.
It also will not pretend to be more finished than it is. There is no in-app view of everything stored about you yet, and the first profile on an account cannot be removed from inside the app. Both gaps are listed on the method page rather than left for you to discover.
Getting things wrong, and fixing them
Two kinds of error matter here. A calculation error is a defect: the charts on the method page are reproducible, and if they do not reproduce, that is ours to fix. A claim on this website that does not match how the product behaves is the other kind, and it is just as much a defect.
Either one goes to support@vedikks.com. Corrections that hold up are applied and dated in the change log on the method page. We would rather be corrected in public than be quietly wrong, including by the products we compare ourselves to in the consistency benchmark.
